Effective date: August 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Resume Maker iOS application ("the App", "we") handles your information.
All resume content you create in the App — personal details, work experience, education, skills, photos, and generated PDF files — is stored locally on your device only. We do not upload, collect, or have access to your resume data. Deleting the App deletes this data.
If you choose to add a profile photo, the App requests access to your camera or photo library. Selected photos are used only inside your resume and remain on your device.
The App is free and supported by advertising served by Google AdMob. Ad partners may collect and process the following data to serve and measure ads:
In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, in line with the GDPR. On iOS you will also see Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, ads will not use your device's advertising identifier for tracking.
See Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and how Google uses data from partner apps at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate app usage (for example, which screens are used and whether ads load correctly). This data is aggregated and does not include your resume content.
The App may use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send you occasional notifications. A push token is generated for your device for this purpose. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
On launch, the App fetches a configuration file from our server to control app behavior (such as which ads are enabled). This request includes standard network information (such as IP address) but no personal or resume data.
If you use the in-app feedback form, we receive only the information you choose to submit (such as your message and, optionally, your email address), which we use solely to respond to and act on your feedback.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, delete, or restrict processing of personal data held by us or our advertising partners. Because we do not store your resume data on servers, most data is under your direct control on your device. You can withdraw ad-consent choices in the App settings or via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
